SAE Institute was founded in 1976 by Dr. Tom Misner in Sydney, Australia offering post-secondary courses in audio engineering. SAE Institute has since grown to become the world’s largest practical creative media educator with 54 campuses in 26 countries and an expanded course portfolio in creative media technologies with a strong tradition of practical application and industry recognition.
In the United Kingdom SAE Institute has 4 campuses in London, Liverpool, Glasgow and the world headquarters in Oxford.
The Liverpool campus offers the audio programmes and has established itself as the North West’s premier audio training facility.
SAE Liverpool is situated in the heart of the City, directly opposite Liverpool’s well known ‘Three Graces’. Liverpool boasts an incredible music pedigree and has a vibrant and avant garde creative sector.
SAE Institute is accredited by Middlesex University, London UK. Students enrolled on a validated programme will receive a Middlesex award on successful completion of their studies. SAE Institute is also accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education, member of Study UK and a listed body on the register of the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills.
